Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here.

My name is Elmarie, and I’m thrilled to share my journey and passion for living an optimal life with you. Whether you’re seeking inspiration, practical tips, or a little bit of encouragement, you’re in the right place.

Let’s walk this path to a healthier, happier life together!

A bit about me:
I’m a trained philosopher and cognitive scientist with a deep curiosity about human behavior, and my passion for understanding the brain and body extends far beyond my professional life. It influences my daily efforts to optimize health and well-being. I’m also happily married with a small baby and a lively dog, who ensure that life in our household is never boring. They keep me mentally and physically fit with their endless energy and surprises.

– MY STORY –

My passion for health and wellness started back in 2014 when I became a Zumba instructor, and in 2016, I leveled up by becoming a STRONG Nation instructor. That same year, I participated in a life-changing fitness challenge that helped me lose 12kg and sparked a newfound passion for health and fitness. Soon after, I moved to Germany to start my PhD. Despite the challenges of adjusting to a new country, I managed to keep the weight off and dive even deeper into learning about wellness.

Eager to learn more, I pursued courses in fitness training, anatomy, and nutrition. As I progressed, I became fascinated with the science behind movement and health, constantly seeking to understand how our bodies work and how to best care for them.

By 2020, when I completed my PhD, I was in the best shape of my life—both mentally and physically. But that year brought tough times. I lost my mom, and the grief, combined with the upheaval of the pandemic, really took a toll on me.

Since then, life has been a whirlwind. In just five years, I met my husband, we moved in together, I took a job in Edinburgh that had me traveling weekly between countries, got another job back in Germany, got a dog, married my best friend, bought a house, and had a baby. It’s been a lot, to say the least!

Now that we’ve finally settled down, I’ve been reflecting on where I am and what I want. These past few years have made me rethink my priorities, reminding me of the importance of family and finding a routine that genuinely makes me happy. That’s why I decided to embark on my journey as a life coach. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned about behavior, the mind, and the body, and to continue improving my own fitness, health, and well-being along the way.

– MY MISSION-

At first glance, philosophy, fitness, and coaching might seem like very different worlds. But for me, they have always been deeply connected. My academic background in Philosophy, Psychology, and Cognitive Science, including a PhD in Philosophy of Mind, has given me a deep understanding of how we think, feel, and behave. It’s shaped the way I see health, not just as something physical, but as something closely tied to our thoughts, our environment, and the demands of everyday life.

Alongside this, my training as a certified nutritionist, fitness trainer, and life coach allows me to support women in a practical, grounded way, not with rigid plans or unrealistic expectations, but with strategies that actually fit into real life. My work is especially focused on mothers.

I support women who feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and disconnected from themselves to find their way back to who they are. Through a holistic approach that brings together stress management, movement, nutrition, and mindset, I help you rebuild your energy, create sustainable routines, and feel more at home in your body and your life again.

This is not about perfection. It’s about creating small, meaningful changes that help you feel calmer, stronger, and more like yourself, even in the midst of a busy life with children.

Here, you’ll find practical tools, honest insights, and supportive guidance to help you navigate this phase of life in a way that feels good and sustainable for you.
